DISTRUST

In candour and with reproach,

I hasten to question the possibility,

a denouncement for myself,

seeking inquisition to the spirit.

You swear puzzlement, so

with integrity ensured in

moving limbs and the slow turn

of my aching head, I ask what is it about

you, I meant to inherit

for the universe of my life.
