I missed this somehow. Dubai will hold its first ever literary festival for 3 days from February 26, 2009 next year. The festival said to fill one of the last missing gaps in Dubai 's Arts scene, is to be called the Emirates Airline International Festival of Literature (EAIFL). There are plans to make it one of the best literary festivals in the world and I believe, that some big names are guaranteed on the scene.
