In my mind, from what I've seen, a humility that visits in the spring or summer of a person's life may not always last...unless it arrives in the late autumn or the winter of a person's soul when the revolving myriad of life has been lived through and learnt. Then humility stays on...the sacred companion until the twilight of one's last breath. It is beautiful in old age, less so in the young. - suzan abrams
